2009 saw the first commercial sales of ENVY™ apples in Asia and USA. The response to ENVY™ has exceeded expectation as consumers and retailers line up to get a piece of this coveted new apple. ENZA General Manager, Snow Hardy said, "We knew that ENVY™ was a great apple but the response from the market has been outstanding!"

The September launch at Hong Kong's Asiafruit Logistica caused local media to sit up and take notice and ENVY™ featured in major daily newspapers and prime time television. Reporters focused on the quality, flavour and innovation of the ENVY™ apple and its great promise in the market.

US retailers have been quick to identify the broad appeal of ENVY™ amongst their consumers. Early demand has been strong and ENVY™ outperformed all other varieties in challenging markets.
